Welcome to the website of the West Central Valley Schools.  West Central Valley is located in central Iowa along I-80 west of Des Moines about 20 miles and includes the communities of Dexter, Menlo, Redfield and Stuart. The West Central Valley School District consists of four schools with an enrollment of over 800 students.  Our schools consist of two elementary buildings, (Preschool and grades Kindergarten through 2nd in Stuart and 3rd through 5th in Dexter), a 6-8 Middle School in Redfield and the High School 9-12 in Stuart.  The school district also provides services for students with special needs (K-­12) and offers a wide array of extracurricular programs for our students to participate in and enjoy.
